Apple AirPods Explored and Explained

Launched on 16th September 2016, Apple’s iPhone 7 was notable for the absence of a headphone jack socket. Yes, the enclosed earphones had a Lightning connector. And, yes, included in the box was a 3.5mm to Lightning convertor lead.

Also announced was Apple’s new wireless AirPods, their wireless earphones to connect to the iPhone (and other Apple devices) via Bluetooth.

An A-to-Z of German Software Developers—Part 2

In technology, you’d be forgiven for thinking that all good ideas originate in Silicon Valley, San Francisco. That’s not the case. You may have heard of Silicon Roundabout, London, or even Silicon Glen in Scotland.

What may come as a surprise is the number of digital technology companies and app producers in Germany.

In the first part of this tutorial series on German software developers and tech companies, I looked at some of the apps and developers from Germany, listed A-M. It’s not designed to be a comprehensive list, just a list highlighting the significant German contribution to the world of computer technology.

How to Watch the Apple Special Event on 7th September 2016

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to watch the live Apple special event, on 7th September 2016, that is Apple is set to live broadcast over the internet.

You can watch the event on a Mac, on an iPad, iPhone or on a television via Apple TV. You could even watch in on a PC.
